アメリカはルイジアナ州出身のブルースギターの名手であり、歌はもちろん、ヴァイオリンやハーモニカまでこなすマルチ奏者でもあるクラレンス・ゲイトマウス・ブラウン。ブルースから、ケイジャン、カントリー&ウェスタン、ジャズまで、幅広い音楽性と幅広い演奏テクニックの持ち主。
本作は、名門「Alligator Records」に残した1989年作品。日本を代表するギタリストの吾妻光良もフェイバリットにあげる、圧倒的な柔軟性とテクニックと個性で聴かせる演奏は、全ギターファン必聴。
